Get to Know Organic Wines<\/h1>\n
Our winery in Iphofen, Franconia, grows grapes on 27 hectares at the foot of the picturesque Schwanberg. Julius-Echter-Berg, K\u00fcchenmeister and Kronsberg are our parade sites, paired with the powerful terroir of the Keuper, they result in a unique combination.<\/p>\n Great wines mature with us in a great cellar. Our vaulted cellar in the old malt house dating from 1880 is the jewel of our winery. Three stories deep underground, we age our wines in traditional barrique barrels and modern stainless steel tanks. This is also where our sparkling wine factory has found its home, where we live out our passion for high-quality sparkling wine. Each bottle of Zehntkeller sparkling wine is aged by hand using the champagne method.<\/p>\n We have been carrying the idea of sustainability within us for a long time. As early as 2009 we converted our winery to organic viticulture and have since been For us, wine is more than just a product.
